Overview

ScanLan is designed with a privacy-first model. Core network scanning runs on-device.

Data Collection

We do not collect analytics, usage tracking, or advertising identifiers from the app.

Network Data

When you scan a network, discovered device and service information is processed locally on your device for results, history, and export functionality.

Optional Context Lookups

Depending on features you use, optional enrichment context may include DNS, WHOIS, GEO, WAN, or SSL metadata.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Exported files are generated at your request and shared only by your actions.

Permissions

ScanLan may request Local Network and location-related permissions to improve network visibility features such as SSID context.
